i heart rag rugs

This is my second weaving project. So pretty and functional! I could weaving rag rugs all day. Threading my loom on the other hand...





Only 280 heddles to thread. No big deal.

I used bed sheets, vintage fabrics and old dye and print samples to make my rag rug. Every strip of fabric tells a story and conjures feelings of nostalgia.

Everyone's rugs were so different but all so pretty! I wish I could spend all semester making rag rugs
