There are so many beautiful houses on my walk downtown.

It's hard to tell in the photo but this house is pale yellow with a rusty red trim. Great colour combo.

I love fish scale shingles.

There are quite a few heritage homes in Halifax.

This round church is so unique.

A sweet memorial from a loving husband on Brunswick st. TLF.

Spring finally feels like it has arrived! Does anyone know what kind of tree this is?

I would love to live in one of this old brick duplexes. They remind me of New York City and its brownstones.

Halifax's very own castle!

I was told once that these townhouses are called the twelve apostles.

Three dollar Indian food in the sunshine. I love curry. I highly recommend the Scotia Square food court.

My view of the harbour.

I ran into my friend Drew, son of my mentor and friend Adrienne at Perl Grey.

I got ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery called 'All Lovin' No Oven'. I didn't like the waffle bowl as much as I thought I would but the ice cream was AMAZING.

I should have been wearing shorts.

My drafting homework. Don't copy it! I did it wrong.

Theodore hanging out with his biker friends. Typical Halifax.

A selection of our rag rugs were put into the display case at school. Mine is on the far right.

After my day in the sunshine I spent about five hours in the studio working on my warp-faced canvas project. I promise to post pictures soon!
